I can't figure out why, but Donald Adamek has - among many other pages - info on the University of Michigan tuba players. One is Michael Ball, a.k.a. Meathead.
You can see him in uniform here.
He was a senior. So he can assume he's taken his mouthpiece elsewhere.
His hometown was Tecumseh, Michigan.

I had the page because I was one of the other tuba players. Michael graduated a few years ago, and has taken his mouthpiece elsewhere, though I don't remember where.
Thanks for the update. Let us know if he appears, with or without tuba.
There seem to be an inordinate number of Michael Balls who are musicians of some sort. Your and his choice makes me wonder about what inspires the big brass.
My youngest wants to take tuba. His next oldest brother plays the upright bass. Is the size a prime attraction?
